Star-Spangled Brownie Lights Up Disney World Hotels for 4th of July
Here at MickeyBlog, one of our favorite ways to commemorate is with sweet, summertime treats, sure to bring smiles to the celebration!
Today, our wonderful MickeyBlogger Miranda is over at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter, enjoying all the limited-time festivities this beautiful hotel has to offer.
Star-spangled Brownie Bar
Miranda recently filmed the most awesome video tour of this resort — which you can check out here — so we know we’re in good hands finding the best treats here!
For the 4th of July, the resort’s vibrant Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory is serving up this mouth-watering, limited-time treat, and we couldn’t wait to give it a try.
Cleverly named the “Star-Spangled Brownie Bar,” this looks like a celebration in chocolate form, so let’s check it out and see what Miranda thought of it!
Doesn’t it look spectacular?
So, according to the menu card, what we have here is a chocolate chip fudgy brownie, sat atop a graham cracker crust. Piped on top is the most delicious-sounding brown butter caramel mousse, with chocolate stars and a sprinkling of popping candy, for that firework-like finish!
We’re glad to report that Miranda found this treat absolutely delicious, thanks to the brownie’s perfectly gooey consistency and soft crust. Miranda also said it was like a true taste of summer, and an ideal 4th of July treat!
If this description has also made you want to grab a Star-Spangled Brownie Bar this 4th, you can find them not only at French Quarter, but also Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — Riverside, and Disney’s Caribbean Resort, too. They cost $5.49.
If you’re staying at one of the other Walt Disney World Resort hotels this 4th however, don’t worry! We’ve been finding an array of spectacular treats available at each one, so be sure to stay tuned to MickeyBlog for all our reviews, news, and more!
