These yummy treats are part of the magical Disney experience. And Disney Cast Member, Patrice Guy, is one of the many faces who help bring these amazing (and delicious) offerings to the Disney parks.
Meet Patrice

Owned and Operated Merchandise Manager Patrice has been part of the Disney family for 45 years. She is affectionately known as “Sweet Patrice” by her team and has had a great career journey.
Patrice recently shared, “The most rewarding part of my Disney journey is knowing that the work I do is part of the magic for our guests and cast.”
Disney Career
Patrice’s career with DIsney started as a parade performer in 1976. She moved into a Sales Hostess role at the Emporium in Magic Kingdom and spent 22 years in the field becoming an international merchandise expert.
Her experience then led to a role with Disney-branded packaging and fresh treats.

Today, Patrice is part of the Disney Consumables team working closely with product design, brand, sourcing and planning teams to develop strategies to guide the creative process. She also partners with local suppliers for the caseline treats guests see in the stores.
Patrice loves making the connection between storytelling and treats:
Storytelling is a big part of what we do. When we create a program in Consumables, we look for candies and other products that support the story through shapes, flavors, colors and product types.
Patrice’s main focus is finding the right treats to complement the amazing programs and unique designs created by the product design and brand teams.

Over the years, Patrice has been involved in numerous Disney projects, but a few stand out. Creating the Karamell-Küche store at the Germany Pavilion in EPCOT is a personal favorite as this is the only Werther’s store in the world.
Patrice excelled in her career by staying focused on what was best for the business and developing strong relationships with suppliers.
She was inducted into the Candy Hall of Fame (the highest honor in the confectionery industry) and acknowledges that her success is also the success of Disney and the businesses and suppliers that all work together.
I love the awesome treats and sweets at Disney and am so thankful for Cast Members like Patrice who bring magic in amazing and creative ways to the Disney experience.
