Cinderella Fountain in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Drained and Roped Off
Our MickeyBlogger Ed is at the Magic Kingdom today and noticed that a beloved Fantasyland landmark is out of service. The Cinderella Fountain near the castle has been drained and is roped off.
The Cinderella fountain has always been a popular spot to pose for photos and features Cinderella surrounded by her mouse friends!
As of going to print, we aren’t sure if the fountain has broken down or if it is being refurbished.
It could simply be that Disney has drained the fountain for repainting.
It’s been a bustle of activity around Cinderella Castle recently as Disney took down all of the 50th Anniversary Castle decorations.
Later this year Walt Disney World will be celebrating Disney’s 100th Anniversary Celebration.
Disney World has yet to announce what they’ll be doing to celebrate this important centennial.
This is a story that we’ll be following closely. We promise to keep you posted on any updates to the Cinderella Fountain.
Readers are encouraged to keep following along with MickeyBlog for further Walt Disney World news and updates.
We’ll be coming to you LIVE! from the theme parks each and every week.
