Walt Disney World fans, I have a feeling you’re going to love this story. At the recent premiere of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, the original Indy from Disney World’s Epic Stunt Spectacular got to meet his inspiration, Harrison Ford!

Have you seen the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular in Disney’s Hollywood Studios? On a recent trip, I visited the show, and I must admit, I was pleasantly surprised!

As a Disneyland Annual Passholder for many years, my favorite ride was Indiana Jones Adventure. From the time of its premiere, I was a huge fan!
That being said, I went into the show unsure of what to expect. But, I absolutely loved it!

Funny, creative, and exciting, it was a great time! Something that stood out to me is how talented the actors are.
Speaking of which, Kevin Brassard is the original Indy from the Epic Stunt Spectacular! According to Disney Parks Blog, he originated the role over 30 years ago.
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny

The fifth installment in the Indiana Jones franchise, Dial of Destiny, recently celebrated its premiere. Kevin was invited and was treated to the surprise of a lifetime!

Harrison Ford met with him and fellow stunt performer Michele Waitman! Kevin shares, “When I said to him, ‘I’m the man that’s been lucky enough to portray Indiana Jones that you created for the past 34 years,’ he thanked me.”

Kevin started his Disney career in the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. Afterward, he was selected as the first Indy in the show, performing in its debut on August 25, 1989, in front of none other than George Lucas!

Disney shares that, “Several decades later, Kevin continues to play a key role as the comical ‘Director’.” Kevin reflects, “If I could tell myself starting with this show more than 30 years ago about today, first of all, I’d say strap in, it’s gonna be a wild ride. And you’re gonna love it!”
