Walt Disney World Wait Times for Second Week of June 2023
As Alice Cooper once sang – probably before you were born – school’s out for the summer.
I always brace for a fight when I say that, as parents quickly say, “My child’s school ended weeks ago,” or “My child’s school doesn’t end until June 30th.”
This conversation plays out like Spring Break, wherein there is not one true answer. Instead, I use general guidelines for this stuff.
The prevailing belief is that school ended in early June, which leads to a second conclusion.

Disney parks will heat up soon if they haven’t already. And now is when we check!
Here are the theme park attraction wait times for the second week of June 2023.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Anecdotally, I heard that Pandora – The World of Avatar required shorter waits this past week, but I’m skeptical of the source.
Their previous trip had come during Christmas Week. Any other Disney visit will include shorter lines than that.
Still, let’s fact-check with Avatar Flight of Passage, Animal Kingdom’s alpha attraction.

Last week, the flight through Pandora averaged a wait of 97 minutes, which is up six minutes from last week.
Meanwhile, Na’vi River Journey came with a wait of 74 minutes, which is a minute more than last week. Ah well.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

As I type this early in the afternoon, Hollywood Studios lists some remarkably short wait times, all things considered.
So, I’m genuinely curious about what has happened during the past week.

At one point on Sunday, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance listed a 35-minute wait, which is simply incredible for a weekend day in June.
For the past week, the Star Wars E-ticket attraction averaged a wait of 84 minutes, which is three minutes more than last week.
This wasn’t even the ride with the longest wait last week.

Slinky Dog Dash
That distinction went to Slinky Dog Dash, which averaged 96 minutes, two minutes less than last time.

Overall, Magic Kingdom guests waited for an average of 35 minutes per attraction, which is three minutes more than last week.
So, that’s the story here. At all four Disney parks, tourists waited two or three minutes longer for most attractions.

We may experience one more week like this, or the switch to larger crowds could happen as soon as next week.
But the crowds are definitely coming to Disney soon!
