Dancefloor at Biergarten to Undergo Refurbishment in July
Those planning on dining at the Biergarten in EPCOT’s Germany Pavilion may want to leave those dancing shoes at home during the month of July. Disney has just announced that the dancefloor at the beloved Oktoberfest-themed restaurant will be closed from July 17 – July 28, 2028.
You can check out the official Biergarten announcement from disneyworld.com below:
As of going to print, Disney has not cited a reason for the closer. It would seem to be a routine refurbishment. However, they did add that live entertainment will still be available during these dates.
For those unfamiliar, Biergarten is a table service restaurant located in the World Showcase at EPCOT. The eatery has a Bavarian Village theme, a menu brimming with delicious German fare, and a Polka band to set the tone!
The Biergarten-style tables feature rotating selections of popular German dishes including bratwurst, rotisserie chicken, pork schnitzel, salads, and more. You’ll also want to save room for dessert to sample the Bavarian cheesecake along with my favorite the hand-pulled apple strudel that is made fresh daily.
Guests 21 and older can also raise a stein with a slew of German beers and wines.
Biergarten is a wildly popular EPCOT eatery and advanced reservations are strongly encouraged.
We will continue to keep you in the know about any other Biergarten refurbishment news and updates.
