Will Disney Automatically Refund My Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Tickets?

Earlier today we here at MickeyBlog shared the news that Disney World will be cancelling all of the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Parties for 2020. With tickets released for sale earlier this year, many of you are reaching out to enquire about what happens for those guests that have already purchased tickets and we have an answer for you!

The following is an update directly from Walt Disney World:

Disney has said that they will be sending out refunds over the next few weeks. For guests that used a credit card to make your Not-So-Scary Halloween Party reservations, YOU DO NOT NEED TO TAKE ANY ACTION. Disney will refund you back to your original form of payment.

For those that made your party ticket purchase using gift cards or reward dollars, Disney will reach out to you with a NEW Digital Gift Card covering the cost of your tickets.

If you paid cash for your Halloween Party tickets then Disney will reach out to you directly to discuss your refund options.

Finally, if you booked your ticket through a Travel Agent reach out to them and they will be able to update you!

Will Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Parties Still Happen This Year?

If you’re sad on missing out on Magic Kingdom’s annual Halloween soiree and want to instead check out Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, the long and short of it is that we don’t know yet whether these events will take place this year. Disney revealed that they haven’t made a decision on this yet.
