Halle Bailey Goes Undercover and Catches The Little Mermaid in Disguise!
This weekend is already filled with exciting news for the opening of Disney’s The Little Mermaid!
The Little Mermaid makes an opening day splash with $38 Million at the domestic box office and fans cannot get enough.
Little Mermaid star, Halle Bailey, got in on the opening weekend fun too, popping on a disguise and catching a Friday night performance of the new film.

Bailey documented her fun on the unsuspecting audience and shared photos and video on Instagram and TikTok.
Over two million followers watched to see how she managed to quietly slip into the crowd.

How did she do it?
Halle entered the theater wearing a face mask and a pair of dark sunglasses.

The fun footage shows Bailey wandering through the movie theater and posing in front of a giant poster featuring herself as Ariel.
Halle also bought herself a drink and a tub of popcorn to snack on! She pointed out that it was Little Mermaid-themed and had a picture of herself as Ariel on the front.

Halle’s undercover fun coincides with news that The Little Mermaid is doing amazingly well its first weekend in theaters. It grossed $38 Million at the domestic box office opening day.
The movie is on track to surpass other Disney live re-makes including Lion King and Beauty and the Beast.
