First Look: H2O Glow After Hours at Typhoon Lagoon
Yesterday, May 20th was the first day of H2O Glow After Hours at Typhoon Lagoon and our MickeyBloggers were there to share with us a first look at all of the evening fun!
For those unfamiliar, H2O Glow After Hours is a special evening event that takes place after Typhoon Lagoon after the theme park closes for the day.
Typhoon Lagoon brought out the station wagon from days gone by to celebrate this 3-hour limited-capacity event!
H2O Glow After Hours is a fantastic way to experience Typhoon Lagoon water park which is illuminated at night.
H2O Glow After Hours still features many of the attractions you enjoy at Typhoon Lagoon but without those long lines. This includes Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool, raft rides, waterslides, and more.
As we arrived at H2O Glow, we were greeted by some special sidewalk art!
Included in the cost of your ticket are some complimentary drinks and snacks.

In addition to our cups all H2O Glow After Hours guests were given wristbands.

It was a beautiful evening for a Typhoon Lagoon soiree.
The park is definitely free of crowds making it wonderfully enjoyable!
The H2O Glow events run from 8am – 10pm. However, guests can get into the water park as early as 6pm with their party ticket.

On party nights Disney even throws some special innertubes for guests to enjoy.
Though guests usually need to rent towels, they were being handed out for free near Singapore Sals for the event.
A highlight of H2O Glow After Hours is the DJ Dance Party.
A stage is set up on the sandy beach for this family-friendly event. There are even dancers on the stage to get the crowd into the partying mood!
Best of all, during the DJ Dance Party, many Disney friends take to the stage.
Kicking off the H2O Glow After Hours party were Chip and Dale.
Goofy also took to the stage along with Captain Hook and Mr. Smee.

The dancers could also be seen rallying the crowds!
It’s only 8:15 but already the party is well underway!
We love that Chip and Dale wore matching tank tops to the event!
They did a great job of engaging with the kids in the crowd!
Though we spent most of our evening dancing the night away, there are many fantastic attractions that remain open during H2O Glow for guests to enjoy. This includes:

Prices to Attend H2O Glow After Hours at Typhoon Lagoon are:
- Adult (ages 10 and up): $75 plus tax
- Child (ages 3 to 9): $70 plus tax
Discounts are available for Disney Vacation Club members and Annual Passholders.
- Passholder or Member – Adult (ages 10 and up): $59 plus tax
- Passholder or Member – Child (ages 3 to 9): $54 plus tax
