Disney World and Central Florida are already experiencing record rainfall and just yesterday set a new record.
On Monday, May 18th, Orlando experienced 3.83″ of rain. This surpasses the old record set in 1943 for 1.74″ of rain.
With hurricane season just two weeks away many are wondering if this is an early indicator of what we can expect weather-wise this summer.
Central Florida Forecast
In late spring and early summer, the weather at Disney World is typically warm and humid with temps ranging from the high 70s to the low 90s.
This is the time of year where central Florida typically starts to experience those frequent afternoon rain showers and thunderstorms. Our #1 tip? Plan and ahead and be prepared for occasional rain by bringing appropriate clothing and weather accessories.
