Original Tink Model Kerry Celebrates 94th Birthday at Disneyland
Faith, trust and pixie dust found themselves on full display yesterday at Disneyland Park. Margaret Kerry, most notably known in Disney circles for her inspiring work at Tinker Bell in 1953’s “Peter Pan,” visited to celebrate her 94th trip around the sun.
Sporting a customary Disney Parks birthday button, the original Tink model strolled through Fantasyland hand-in-hand with Peter Pan himself during her visit. The reuniting of these two brought such joy to everyone, including artist Rick Law, who captured the moment and shared it on Twitter.

Time as Tink Proves Inspirational
Decades ago, Kerry served as the inspirational model for Peter Pan’s trusty sidekick, Tinker Bell. Over the years, the darling actress has continued to share glimpses into her time on set.
In honor of the film’s 70th anniversary early this year, Kerry even released a new commerative poster along with Tinker Bell animator Marc Davis.
According to her IMDB page, Kerry also voiced the role of the red-headed mermaid in “Peter Pan,” which represents just one film in which she featured throughout her remarkable acting, voice-over, and producing career.
Now, Kerry maintains an active speaking schedule, including a talk titled “Tales of Tinker Bell with Margaret Kerry” at the Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco, California. With a career that began at the age of 4, Kerry continues to inspire through her work and personal story, and we wish her all the best in celebrating!
