PHOTOS: Orlando International Hilariously Joins May the 4th Festivities
It’s May the 4th, a day marked globally by Star Wars fans, and the celebration at Walt Disney World continues to draw huge crowds. Always one for a witty joke, Orlando International Airport (MCO) also embraced the day, introducing a new narrative to the saga: The Book of Boba Flight.
After the incredible popularity of “The Book of Boba Fett” on Disney+ last year, the new character’s arrival at MCO could not be better timed. It looks like Boba Flight descended on Orlando ready for the Walt Disney World theme parks too as he already acquired his “First Visit” button.
Boba Flight Explores MCO
Sporting a fantastically appropriate tropical shirt, Boba Flight explored the airport today and shared his journey in a series of Tweets on the airport’s Twitter feed. According to one post, Boba Flight found the humidity a little jarring, commenting in a post that he “sweat less clawing my way out of the Sarlacc pit.”
Another Tweet proved that Boba Flight found the ride on the tram just as exciting as the rest of us do. He even commented on Mayor Buddy Dyer’s welcome message introducing himself with his title, Mos Espa Daimyo.
After stopping by Gatlin Trade for yet another pair of novelty socks, Boba Flight seemed ready to journey outside of the airport and see all that Orlando has to offer.
