Neon Sign Added
Check out that giant Orange Bird! Isn’t he adorable?!
Disney World’s beloved emblem sits amongst some crates filled with oranges. Behind him is a large, green circle.
A neon sign with the text, “Hello Sunshine!’ has been added. Swirly lettering and yellow lighting add a cheerful element, drawing your attention to the display.
Orange Bird
Did you know that Orange Bird has been a symbol of Walt Disney World Resort since its inception? When he wants to communicate, he doesn’t do so via sounds or tweeting.
He simply thinks of what he wants to say, and then an orange cloud pops up over his head. This is how he lets you know what he’s thinking!
First appearing at a press event in 1971, before Disney World opened, he remains a popular character. New art and stories bring him to life as he continues to evolve with time.
If you’re an Orange Bird fan, this is a great little photo op. Head to Disney Springs and snap a pic with its new, neon sign!
