Cinnamon Rolls Now on Menu at Pongu Pongu
Someone has been swapping out the sweets over at Pongu Pongu in Pandora at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Our MickeyBlogger popped over to the Avatar-themed land this morning and noticed that the french toast sticks are no longer on the menu and have been replaced by a Cinnamon Roll duo.
As you can see, we received two small rolls in our order for $6.49.
The cinnamon rolls are a bit of a departure from the Avatar-themed treats you’ll typically find in Pandora.
We wondered if there’d be any out-of-this-world touches but as you can see from these images, these are your standard Disney cinnamon rolls.
If you’ve tried Cinnamon Rolls at Disney, you’ll know that they’re more on the crusty side than they are ooey-gooey.
This largely holds true for this Pongu Pongu duo.
The centers of the rolls still do retain a bit of moistness. However, they are on the dry side overall.
According to cast members on the scene. Disney was having difficulty sourcing out the ingredients for the French Toast Sticks previously on offer.
With that in mind, they swapped them out with the Cinnamon Rolls.
