‘Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi’ Coming Back For Second Season
Somewhat lost in the bevy of new Star Wars announcements last week was Dave Filoni’s revelation that Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi would be returning for a second season.
For those who are unfamiliar with the show, Tales of the Jedi is an anthology series, that takes a deeper look into the background of some of Star Wars’s most iconic characters.
A Successful Season 1
The first season of the series was composed of six episodes. These were evenly divided between focusing on Ahsoka Tano and Count Dooku.
The series was created by Dave Filoni, who actually started writing the episodes while working on The Mandalorian.
The first season of Tales of the Jedi was released in October 2022. The show received critical acclaim for its animation, writing, and musical score.
Dave Filoni’s Surprise Announcement
At the Star Wars Celebration panel celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Clone Wars animated series, Dave Filoni ended the presentation by announcing that Tales of the Jedi would be back for a second season.
“Tales of the Jedi was so fun the first time, I decided to do some more,” he said.
While a release date and synopsis have yet to be revealed, Star Wars fans, particularly fans of the Clone Wars era characters should rejoice.
