We Tried the NEW Easter Carrot Cake in Disney World!
It’s Easter Weekend, everyone! There have been celebrations going on in Disney World for a while now, including yummy treats, fun merchandise, and even an appearance from the Easter Bunny himself!
We also just found out about some limited-time Easter treats over at Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs. So, come along with us to try one of them out!
Easter Carrot Cake
This is the Easter Carrot Cake from Gideon’s Bakehouse. It’s the first time we’ve seen a classic carrot cake over here!
It’s three layers of soft Ginger Spiced Carrot Cake surrounded by Gideon’s signature large portion of their Cheesecake Frosting and accented with Candied Walnuts and Buttercream Carrots!

WOW, I mean doesn’t it just look stunning?! This seems perfect for Easter, so let’s see how it tastes!
This cake is absolutely delicious! There are actual chunks of carrot inside the carrot cake.
The cake is also very moist, which is great! The icing is a bit overpowering since it’s so thick on the cake, but if you love icing, then you’ll probably love that.
If you get a balanced bite with just a little icing and a bigger piece of cake, we think it’s perfect.
The pecans on the back are tasty as well — very fresh and cinnamon-y!
Gideon’s said the goal of the cake was to make it a “soft and smooth experience and an Easter Cake that melts in your mouth.” We think that was definitely accomplished here! If you want this for yourself, you can get it for $9.
If you don’t want the cake, or want an additional treat, there is also the Cream Cheese Stuffed Sugar Cookie available! This is naked Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough stuffed with a Cream Cheese Frosting, and coated on top with Chunky Sugar Crystals!

Both of these options are available from today until Easter Sunday at Gideon’s in Disney Springs. They’re limited to two per person and are only available while supplies last, so get there early if you want them!
