BREAKING: Water Is Flowing at the New Moana Attraction in EPCOT!

In case you missed it, a new Moana attraction is coming soon to EPCOT!

Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana will be an interactive water trail in the heart of EPCOT, representing the importance of water — just like it was to Moana on her ocean voyage. The attraction will not open until the end of 2023, but now there’s been an important development!

Disney just shared a video of the water actually flowing at Journey of Water!

“Guests will have the opportunity to engage with water as much or as little as they like, just like Moana in the film,” said Kate Worth, Walt Disney Imagineering Project Coordinator.

And look! Lots of water is flowing. 

The attraction appears to be similar to an elaborate fountain, but it will theoretically include areas where guests can choose to play with the water.

You can catch a view of the construction progress with a ride on the Monorail at EPCOT, which we’ve been able to show you from time to time.

We can’t wait to see the attraction completed. Journey of Water is expected to open to the public in late 2023.
