Coconut Sugar Bunny Cupcake Hops Back on Menus for Easter
Spring has sprung across Walt Disney World, and our MickeyBloggers have been having a fabulous time “hopping” across the resort on an Easter egg hunt for all things sweet and seasonal.
Our latest ventures took us over to Disney’s Pop Century Resort, where the cutest little cupcake has popped back up on the menu for the Easter period. Ready to check it out with us? Then hop along!
We’re here at Everything POP Shopping & Dining, to sample the impossibly sweet Coconut Sugar-Bunny Cupcake.
This cute little guy has hopped back on the menu for the springtime period, after melting our hearts and sweeting our taste buds last Easter. We simply had to go back to try it again this year, too, because who can resist those gorgeous little bunny tails?
As you can see from our photos, these amazing cupcakes perfectly resemble the rear end of a bunny rabbit, sticking out from a tuft of grass.
He looks just like he’s gotten himself stuck in there, just like Pooh Bear famously did in The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh!
I adore the details on this cupcake, especially the cute pink toe pads printed on the rabbit’s feet, and the colorful sprinkles looking like flowers in the grass.
But, that’s enough about the cute aesthetics of the cupcake. Now, let’s take a look at what’s going on inside the dessert!
So, what we have here is a carrot cake cupcake, stuffed with pineapple filling. There’s a mound of cream cheese buttercream on top, with that adorable bunny crafted from coconut sugar.
That’s a lot of fresh, springtime flavors going on there, so we couldn’t wait to see what it tastes like!
Our wonderful MickeyBlogger who sampled this treat for us today told us that the best part of the dessert was that carrot cake cupcake.
Tasty and moist and this is just how we’d want a carrot cake to be! The cream cheese frosting on top of the cake also complimented the flavor perfectly.
However, the element of this dessert that let it down unfortunately was that pineapple filling.
Apparently, it has a more artificial flavor to it than we’d like, and we felt it didn’t pair too well with the existing flavors of the carrot cake. So, be sure to bear this in mind if you’re considering giving the treat a try!
This Coconut Sugar Bunny Cupcake costs $6.49, and can be found not only at Pop Century, but also over at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort too, located just a quick Skyliner flight away.
They’ll be here for a limited time only through the Easter period, so be sure to “hop” on over there soon so as not to miss out!
