When Can I Book 2024 Walt Disney World Vacation Package?
It’s getting to be that time of the year when I have clients reach out frequently about when they can book their 2024 Walt Disney World vacation package.
While I don’t know the exact at this time when those rates will be available, I do have a good idea of when they might be based on previous years!

In previous years, Walt Disney World rooms and packages for the next year opened in June on the following date:
- June 8, 2022: 2023 Walt Disney World vacation packages opened for booking
- June 23, 2021: 2022 Walt Disney World vacation packages opened for booking
- June 24, 2020: 2021 Walt Disney World vacation packages opened for booking
- June 18, 2019: 2020 Walt Disney World vacation packages opened for booking
- June 19, 2023: 2019 Walt Disney World vacation packages opened for booking

A few years ago, the trend was for rates for the next year to become available mid to late June. However, last year, rooms and packages were available for booking earlier in the month of June.
So, if last year’s trend holds up, I am going to throw out the dates of June 6, June 7, and June 8, 2023, for when 2024 Walt Disney World vacation packages and rooms become available for booking. However, if the trend reverts to the years before last, it still could be later in the month. Usually, Disney releases new package and room rates on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.

It is important to note that whenever vacation packages and rooms for Walt Disney World for 2024 are available for booking, they will only be available to book for arrival dates that are 499 days in advance.
So, for example, if Disney does release 2024 packages for booking on June 7, 2023, you would only be able to book a package with an arrival date up to October 18, 2024. Then, on June 8, 2023, you would be able to book a package with an arrival date up to October 19, 2024, and so on.

Remember, it just takes a $200 deposit to lock in a Walt Disney World vacation package. You can also make payments along the way as long as the balance is paid off 30 days prior to your arrival date!
