You Can Now Get Disneyland Runaway Railway Queue Candies at Walt Disney World!
The Imagineers who created Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, and the updated Toontown, really went above and beyond when it comes to Disney lore.
As someone who grew up watching the Disney Afternoon, I can’t believe how many fun references to shows like Goof Troop and Ducktales have been worked into the land.
Powerlimes!
One of the my favorite Easter eggs, was the Disney themed candies that appeared in the Runaway Railway queue. Featuring some of my favorite characters, including Scrooge McDuck and Powerline, I thought these reference were great in and of themselves.
Then, something amazing happened! Disney began to sell the actual candy’s in the EngineEar Souvenirs shop. As a Walt Disney World visitor, I was awfully jealous.
Luckily, Disney didn’t forget about those of us who visit Walt Disney World, and the new Disney-themed candies have appeared in EPCOT. Let’s take a closer look at the new arrivals.
Golly Pops
First up, we have “Golly Pops”.
This package gives you large lollipops in the shape of some of Goofy and Mickey’s famous interjections.
Each package comes with three different candies, which read “Golly”, “Oh Boy” and “Hot Dog!”.
Scrooge McDuck’s Milk Chocolate Coins
Next up, we have Scrooge McDuck’s Milk Chocolate Coins.
The world’s richest duck is featured on the package’s front diving into his money bin.
These chocolate coins have a “rich chocolatey taste”
According to our very own Ed, these chocolate coins are very good! Only the best from Scrooge McDuck.
Power Limes
Last but not least, we have my personal favorite Power Limes.
Featuring the iconic rock star from A Goofy Movie, Power Limes are sour lime taffy.
The front of the packaging features Powerline himself hugging a large lime slice. This candy really “stands out”!
Where To Get Them
All three of these new Disney candies are available now at the Creations Shop over at EPCOT. Who wouldn’t want to try out this candy with character!
