Sneak Peek at the Reopening of Mickey’s Toontown in Disneyland
Mickey’s Toontown reopens in Disneyland on March 19th and a lucky group of people was able to preview the reimagined area!

After a lengthy refurbishment and some major changes and reimaginings in the area, Mickey’s Toontown will reopen to the public on March 19th, and there’s a lot for everyone to enjoy. And now Disney is giving us a chance to see the new area through the eyes of Cast Members!

Disney gave a few Disneyland Resort Cast Members and their guests the “opporTOONity” to see the new version of Mickey’s Toontown!

Aaron Wilson, an attractions host, said, “To experience Mickey’s Toontown before it opens is one of those surreal experiences we get as cast members; you don’t get to do this unless you’re part of the magic.”

Cast Members were able to preview the reimagined Chip ‘N’ Dale’s GADGETcoaster, try some new eats from Cafe Daisy, and check out the area.
Selena Gomez, an attractions hostess, said, “It’s exciting to see everything come back to life. Everything is reTOONed and reimagined to be in tip-top-TOON shape.”

Some of the new areas to enjoy include Donald’s Duck Pond and CenTOONial Park, and we can’t wait to experience everything.
Sam O’Neil, another attractions host, said, “I hope that the families that come visit Toontown are able to enjoy the land and really play with us in their own way. One of the great features of the land is that there are a number of ways for everyone to play.”
