Jeremy Renner Is Doing ‘Whatever it Takes’ To Make a Full Recovery
Less than two months after the snow plow accident that left Jeremy Renner with over 30 broken bones and blunt chest trauma, the Hawkeye star is doing “whatever it takes” to make a full recovery.
In an Instagram story update on Monday, Renner posted a video of himself working out on an exercise bike. He appeared to be using a pole-like tool to help one of his legs pedal.
“Whatever it takes,” the video was captioned.
In the next slide of the story, Renner shared a photo of himself reading The Book of Awakening by Mark Nepo.
A Horrific Accident
On January 1, 2023, Jeremy Renner was using his snow plow to help his nephew get his truck out of the snow. The plow then began to roll over.
Although Renner locked the parking break and exited the vehicle, the Postenbull began to move forward towards his nephew.
In an attempt to stop the snow plow, or perhaps just divert its path, Renner was pulled under the vehicle and run over.
Despite suffering over 30 broken bones, in addition to blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries, Renner was able to leave the hospital and return home on January 17.
“Working On Me”
Although still obviously a long way from fully recovered, Renner has seemed to be in good spirits. On February 15, the actor revealed a behind-the-scenes look at his new Disney+ series Rennervations.
“Behind the scenes on [‘Rennervations’], coming soon on Disney+ around the world! We are cueing up now with Disney and Disney+ to launch this amazing new show. More info to come.”
Renner then added, “Thank you for your patience…while I am in the shop now, working on me.”
