Interestingly, we serendipitously bumped into one of these chefs recently, while sampling his new menu item! We already got to know a little about Chef Twon, but today, we’ll find out more about him, along with his fellow Chef Kima.

Chef Kima
Kima grew up in Colorado Springs and enjoyed the tradition of family gatherings on Sundays.
Her Grandma concocted dishes inspired by her Jamaican and Puerto Rican roots. Jerk chicken was Kima’s favorite meal and it’s the inspiration behind her Celebrate Soulfully menu item!

Her Jamaican Jerk Chicken Frites features “sweet ‘n’ hot jerk marinated chicken, pineapple salsa, scotch bonnet aioli, and fries.” Located at The Daily Poutine at Town Center, it’s a tribute to her Grandma!
Chef Twon
Chef Twon grew up in Orlando Florida. The eldest of 12 siblings, he helped out in the kitchen starting at 10 years old!

The inspiration for his dish originates from traditions passed down by his grandmother to his mom. His Chicken Jambalaya Dog springs from his heritage!
Located at B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co. in the Marketplace, it features “smoked sausage, roasted corn, and lemon caper aioli served on a Tuscan roll.”
