2023 Razzie Awards Announced and Disney Earns 6 Nominations For Live-Action Pinocchio
Hollywood is abuzz as today with the announcement regarding the nominations for the 2023 The Golden Raspberry Awards (AKA the Razzies.) Though Netflix Marilyn Monroe biopic Blonde let the pack, Disney’s Pinocchio was right up there earning a total of six nominations.
Hanks earned a Worst Supporting nomination for his turn as Geppetto in Pinocchio. The film, which went straight to Disney’s streaming network, failed to do well with audiences or critics earning a 28% score on RottenTomatoes.com. It’s therefore not surprising that the film earned Worst Picture and Worst Re-Make Razzie nominations.
