Ready to Enjoy the LEGO Side of The Force? We Are, Too!
So, given the number of hours I spend writing (both vocationally and avocationally), I don’t have a lot of time to build LEGO kits.
However, the new batch of sets connected to the upcoming Star Wars titles, the LEGO isles at Target are calling me.
And I am not alone:

And this week, StarWars.com broke down all the new bricks.
Kristin Baver, one of my favorite Star Wars writers, reported:
Earlier this month on Triple Force Friday, the LEGO Group released eight new Star Wars sets, with five vehicles from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, an AT-ST Raider from The Mandalorian, and a handful of new Minifigures depicting some of the Knights of Ren, the mysterious Boolio, Cara Dune and the titular Mandalorian, and more.
Here are some of our favorites:
Y-Wing
Several of the new sets, including a Y-wing featuring the first Zorii Bliss Minifigure, feature levers and triggers for repositioning wings and deploying bombs.
AT-ST
[T]he AT-ST Raider had to incorporate pieces in various shades of gray and brown to give the set more depth and differentiation from the uniform look of an Imperial-owned walker, Barash says. Designers also incorporated graphical elements for a red-hued paint scheme and exposed wiring running up one leg.
Millennium Falcon
For the latest Millennium Falcon, designers continue to strive to capture the unique vehicle with new molded pieces for added accuracy and detail. Minifigures in the set include the never-before-seen Boolio, a character with a special molded head that’s a departure from the typical LEGO head peg, a debonair, and graying Lando Calrissian, and a tiny D-O droid.
And of course, there’s Grunberg’s (and my) favorite!
Which would you take home?
