New Ornaments Dazzle at Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe

Even though we are over half way through January, its Christmastime 365 days a year at the Magic Kingdom’s Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe.

For those of us who love the holiday season, there can be a letdown following the beginning of the new year. Luckily, when visiting Walt Disney World, you can also start planning your Christmas decorations for next year!

When visiting the store today, we found that Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe has some new arrivals, and they both feature characters from classic  Disney films!

Sword and the Stone Ornament

First up, we have this fun Sword and the Stone ornament!

The decoration features a young Wart, the future King Arthur, trying on his royal garb.

For those of you who haven’t seen the film, the Sword and the Stone takes place during King Arthur’s formative years, when he is educated and aided by the wizard Merlin.

While Merlin is missing from this ornament, his crotchety pet owl Archimedes is present!

This ornament also features the legendary Excalibur, which Arthur effortlessly removes to fulfil the long-told prophecy. By removing the sword, Arthur takes his rightful place as king.

This ornament is truly a great celebration of one of my favorite Disney films!

Robin Hood Ornament

The second new ornament to arrive at Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe features none other then Robin Hood.

The heroic fox joyfully sits atop his own hat for the ornament.

Robin Hood is my favorite Disney movie, so its great to see the character represented on new merchandise.

Here is another look at the cunning hero.

Both of these ornaments come from Disney’s Sketchbook series and are available for $24.99!
