‘Stan Lee’, an Original Documentary Coming to Disney+ in 2023
Today marks what would’ve been the 100th birthday of a legendary figure. In celebration, Marvel announced that Stan Lee, an Original documentary will be coming to Disney+ in 2023.

Stan Lee co-created some of the most iconic superhero characters of our time. The extensive list includes Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Black Panther, The Incredible Hulk, X-Men, Thor, Silver Surfer, Ant-Man, Nick Fury, The Avengers, and many more!

Fans have gotten a kick out of seeing Lee on screen in cameos for various Marvel movies. He’s also appeared in the pages of Marvel comics.

Stan Lee, an Original Documentary
Today, Marvel Entertainment released a Tweet advertising an upcoming entertainment offering on the life of the icon. Entitled, Stan Lee, the Original documentary will premiere on Disney+ in 2023.
A short promo gives fans an inside look. According to the tweet, the documentary celebrates, “100 years of dreaming. 100 years of creating. 100 years of Stan Lee.”

A charming, cartoon photo shows Lee smiling. The video features a mashup of several memorable moments of Lee as seen in the Marvel movies.

Stan Lee was born on December 28, 1933. He got his start in a family-run business called Timely Publications, which later became Marvel Comics.
A creative lead for 20 years, he expanded the small division into a multimedia corporation. As most of us know, his business ended up dominating both the comic and film industries.

After retiring in the 1990s, he made frequent cameos in films and tv shows based on Marvel characters. This allowed him to receive an executive producer credit, reportedly making him the highest-grossing person in film.
Lee kept his creative juices flowing, continuing with his own ventures well into his 90s. He passed away at 95 years old on November 12, 2018, from cardiac arrest.
