If you’ve never heard of this, you’re in for a treat! Although the product debuted several years ago, I was late in the game when it came to learning about it.

Those spending an entire day in one of Disney’s Theme Parks will undoubtedly run into the problem of losing battery life on their device. This can be incredibly frustrating, especially if you like to take lots of pictures, like me.
Although Guests can bring their own chargers into the Parks, cell phones often require more juice for a full day’s use. That being said, you could bring multiple accessories into the gates, but it’s not the most practical or convenient option.

Both Disneyland and Disney World offer portable charging systems at special kiosks within the Parks. For $30 plus tax, Guests can purchase a FuelRod charger that includes a micro-USB cable, a USB Adapter, and an Apple Lightning to USB cable.
Game Changer
The beauty of these chargers is that once drained, they can be swapped out for new, fully charged replacements! On a recent trip to Disneyland, I was at the Parks from opening to closing.

I ended up swapping out my charger several times during the day and was able to keep my phone up and running constantly. Because of this, I got to capture so many treasured moments from my time at the Parks!
Although swapping is currently free of charge at Disneyland, Disney World Guests may encounter a small fee upon switching. Another standout feature is that after use in the Parks, you can continue using the charger for everyday purposes.
