Disney Parks Blog is giving fans the inside scoop on some of Disney’s plans. Included are, “new dining offerings, room remodels and expansions to refreshed lobby spaces, new furniture, smart technology, and more.”
Disney’s Boardwalk
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog, you know that there’s been a lot of activity at Disney’s Boardwalk. The location is being given a refresh with a series of refurbishments in store.
From new furnishings to dining enhancements, there’s a lot to look forward to. A Northeast-inspired deli and Carousel Coffee will satisfy food and beverage cravings.
A whimsical restaurant and bakery are set to open in 2023. Currently, construction has begun on The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers, as seen in the photo above.
Guests of the Boardwalk Resort will soon be treated to a fresh look in the lobby. Rooms will also receive special touches that blend in with its theme.
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
Next year, on July 1, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa celebrates its 35th anniversary! Disney has been busy putting some magical touches on the flagship Resort.
Guest rooms will be updated and the lobby will receive a refurbishment. Although the classic theming will remain, new enhancements will add to its charm.
Dine underneath the London sky at Citricos, or spend your evening at Enchanted Rose Lounge. The popular Victoria & Albert’s has already opened its doors this year to rave reviews.
Disney’s Contemporary Resort
Disney’s Contemporary Resort will receive retro-modern enhancements, with touches from Mary Blair. New murals blend with modern art and historic photography in the lobby.
Refurbished Guest rooms have acquired special touches from the Incredibles films. Disney Parks Blog shares that this is “the first time our stories have been featured in this resort’s design!”
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is also receiving some attention.
The charm of the South Seas blends with modern touches inspired by Disney’s Moana.
Disney’s All-Star Resorts
Refurbishments on all three of Disney’s All-Star Resorts are almost complete. Movies, Music, and Sports welcome Guests with fresh rooms and inviting lobbies.
Lastly, the Trinidad area of Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort will include some fantastic new designs. There is so much in store for Guests on their next trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth.
