REVIEW: We Tried Every NEW Item from the Tuscany Holiday Booth
The Festival of the Holidays officially kicks off today in Epcot, and we are touring the World (Showcase) trying all of the new items!
This year, the Tuscany booth in Italy debuted three brand-new food items for the Festival, and we snapped them all up!
At first glance, the Tuscany booth really went above and beyond with their presentations this year. If I didn’t know it was the Holiday Festival, I would have thought these were fancy platings from the Festival of the Arts! The tortellini and salmon were both presented in very fun containers that made us even more excited to taste them.
The Salmone al Siciliana is a salmon tartare that has been stuffed into a push-pop style vessel. While the presentation is great, we found the fish to be, well…very ‘fishy’ tasting.
The tortellini was much more approachable, and had an equally adorable plating! The jar-shaped container that holds the tortellini features the Tuscany Holiday Kitchen logo as well as an adorable soup can-style label. We liked this dish a lot and would recommend it for children or anyone with a less adventurous palate.
Finally, we capped off our tour of the Tuscany booth with the panettone bread pudding. This was also a very approachable dish that is a good grab for anyone not participating in the cookie stroll who wants a sweet treat while enjoying the Holiday festivities in Epcot!
