New Festival of the Holiday Pins Include One Annual Pass Exclusive
The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays officially kicks off this morning! In a stop into Creations Shop, we got a first look at this year’s festival merchandise, including a trio of exclusive pins.
Adding a touch of snow to any pin collection, the Disney Annual Passholder exclusive pin for this year’s festival captures the subtle magic of snowglobes in its design.
Sven and Olaf delight in the season’s frosty favorite precipitation within the design, which uses a metallic silver color as an outline. The teal blue background plays well with the red poinsettas that surround two of the “Frozen” franchise’s most delightful characters.
Two other “Frozen”-themed pins hit the shelves this morning at Creations Shop. The official 2022 festival pin uses a pale blue color as a background for its delightful scene. Olaf pleasantly rejoices in the snow that Sven continues to enjoy while Anna and Elsa stand in the forefront.
Outlines of both the World Showcase skyline as well as EPCOT’s focal piece of architecture, Spaceship Earth, dot the background. With EPCOT home to the Arendellian royalty, it’s always fun to see them celebrated in the park’s holiday merchandise.
Both the Annual Passholder pin and the pin above retail for $17.99.
For $19.99, the third pin adds layers of design for a unique 3-D effect. With more of the World Showcase skyline sketched across the back, the pin also introduces more signs of the season, including evergreens and cut-out cookies.
Olaf and Sven race to the holiday festivities, almost jumping off of the collectible. Notably, the year is not on this pin, making it more applicable not only to this year’s EPCOT celebration but also the events of years to come.
One of the shortest of EPCOT festivals, the International Festival of the Holidays kicks off today for a run that concludes on December 30th. Stay tuned for the latest as the entertainment and booths open later today.
