Decorations Are Out For This Year’s Festival of the Holidays at EPCOT
If you’ve been following along with us here at MickeyBlog you’ll know that we’ve been spending the afternoon checking out the transformation of the World Showcase for this year’s Festival of the Holidays which kicks off on Friday!
Before we even entered the park, we could see that decorations had gone up!
Here you can see the blue tinsel and metallic baubles that have been put up at the turnstiles.
Signage has also gone up for Festival of the Holidays in the courtyard in front of Spaceship Earth.
It’s slightly understated this year with gold, white and blue presents.
This is going to look absolutely amazing at night with the NEW Spaceship Earth seasonal lighting sequence.
This area makes a great photo op so be sure to take a minute to pose for your holiday family photo.
Throughout the park, holiday banners and signage have gone up.
This includes a fun Festival of the Holidays display as you walk toward the World Showcase.
There’s also this adorable display with similar presents to the ones at the entrance as well as smiling Chip and Dale!
The decorations are definitely putting us in the mood for the holiday season!
As you can see Chip and Dale are wearing accessories for the cooler weather.
That includes a scarf and a hat with a furry pom pom.
All around World Showcase Lagoon you’ll notice lampposts decorated for Festival of the Holidays!
We noticed both white and gold banners…
As well as blue and gold banners.
Many of the little shops around the park have also been given Christmas makeovers.
Here’s a quick look at the garlands just outside of Port of Entry.
Also, pay attention to the signage near the holiday kitchens. They feature a little bit of everything.
One of the areas had the complete list of programming for Freeform’s 25 Days of Christmas.
Another had information about how you can take part in this year’s Olaf-themed scavenger hunt – Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition.
Speaking of, during our visit, we managed to find one of Olaf’s hidden locations but we aren’t going to tell you where!
Stages have also been set up for the festival storytellers. Here’s a look at the ornate wee stage in the Germany Pavilion.
Over at the Canada Pavilion, the stage is being set for seasonal performances by The Canadian Holiday Voyageurs.
Little holiday shops all decorated for the season are also going up around the World Showcase.
We also managed to capture a few videos during our visit.
Here’s a look at the decorative banners on the lampposts near the World Showcase Lagoon.
We’ve also got closer looks at some of the decorative displays we shared with you above.
