runDisney Race Weekend Crowds Pack Into EPCOT
Along with all of the Christmas transitions at Disney World, Disney’s Wine & Dine Half Marathon is also taking place. Our Mickey Blogger is in the Parks and noticed runDisney’s race weekend crowds packing into EPCOT.
Disney’s Wine & Dine Half Marathon
The Wine & Dine Half Marathon runs from November 3-6, 2022. This event celebrates the music, stories, and food located in World Showcase during EPCOT’s International Food and Wine Festival.

Included in the weekend are 5k,10k, and half marathon races. The 5k commenced today at 5:00 a.m. ET.
Tomorrow, participants will run the 10k at the same time. The event concludes on Sunday with the half marathon which also occurs at 5:00 in the morning.

Additionally, Disney offers a Two Course Challenge which takes place on November 5 and 6. Interested parties can make their way around the world in a race totaling 19.3 miles.
Those that can’t be there in person can participate in virtual events. A post-race party closes the weekend at 10 p.m. on Sunday.

Crowds Pack Into EPCOT
As you can see, World Showcase is already packed with Guests this Friday afternoon. Check out the congestion near the China Pavilion!
Yesterday, we shared about crowds of Guests waiting in line for Fantasmic at Hollywood Studios. Today, the pattern continues!
As if Friday crowds weren’t already bad enough. Get a load of these lines!
A lot of people are lining up for the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros. Guests love taking in the sights of Mexico on this gentle boat ride through the Mexico Pavilion.
Speaking of which, the Mexico Pavilion looks the most crowded of all! Despite the crowds, people seem to be in good spirits.
They are at Disney World, after all, and all is right with the world!
