It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas on Main Street USA
One of my favorite things about the passing of the seasons at Walt Disney World is that the minute Halloween is over, Disney undergoes a magical holiday transformation that is nothing short of awe-inspiring! Our MickeyBloggers are at the Magic Kingdom today where it is beginning to look a lot like Christmas- particularly on Main Street USA and the HUB area.
Let’s start with a look at the magnificent castle.
This will be the LAST Christmas of Disney’s 50th Anniversary Celebration and that means guests have one last chance to see Cinderella Castle decorated in all its EARidescent magnificence.
New today are the beautiful garlands around the base of the castle forecourt stage.
You can see Christmas baubles and silver ribbons!
Around the towers of the castle you’ll also notice silver and blue holiday garlands!
It won’t be long before we’ll start seeing the Christmas shows from the stage!
Holiday wreaths can also be found on the lampposts around the HUB.
These ones feature multicolored lights, baubles, a green bow and adorable pineapples!
These wreaths continue across the bridges to the individual lands.
Here we are looking toward Adventureland
Main Street USA has also undergone a magical transformation.
Holiday greenery and garlands are draped from most of the archways and entrances. .
Look at all of the pretty perennials around Casey’s Corner.
We love seeing all of the red and white flowers!
The wreaths around the lampposts on Main Street feature slightly more greenery but a similar design to those in the HUB.
The 50th Anniversary banners remain out as well.
This might just be the emptiest we’ll see the park until after the holidays!
The upper balconies of the shops feature more greenery and multi-colored baubles!
Red and white striped ribbons add big pops of color!
The sign at the Plaza Ice Cream Parlour is given a big multicolored wreath.
We can’t wait to see this all lit up at night!
The Parlor also gets more wreaths and greenery along its roof!
The Plaza Restaurant is looking elegant with green and red garlands that glisten with multi-colored ornaments.
Here’s a look at the beautiful plaza storefronts!
Main Street Confectionary is also looking exceptionally festive!
And just look at home magnificent the corner entry to Emporium is!
City Hall has some stately arrangements of greenery on each pillar.
A large wreath over the door welcomes guests inside.
The Chamber of Commerce has a garland that features lots of confectionary treats including Candy Canes and Ribbon Candy.
We love the contrast of the red and white!
The decorations even extend to the Train Station and theme park entrances.
Gold ornaments are added for a bit of extra sparkle!
