First Look at Disney’s Boardwalk Area in Aftermath of Hurricane Ian
If you’ve been following along with us here at MickeyBlog today, you’ll know that we’ve been sharing looks at how the resorts of Walt Disney World fared during Hurricane Ian. We’ve checked in with a friend staying in Disney’s Boardwalk area and we received some post-storm mages that we wanted to pass on.
As you can see, debris including fallen branches could be found in the Boardwalk area.
We did notice quite a few downed trees.
There was some minor flooding at few locations throughout the area.
The torn awning at Atlantic Dance Co. is a testament to the high winds that passed over Central Florida.
Lots of leaves were scattered along the Boardwalk.
Below is a look at some minor flooding along the pedestrian walkways.
You can also see how saturated the volleyball court is at Disney’s Beach Club Resort.
Readers are encouraged to keep following along with MickeyBlog for further Walt Disney World news and updates.
