Video: The Dapper Dans Debut a New Fall Look!
Nothing says Main Street like the Dapper Dans! This barbershop quartet has been gracing Disney Guests with their vocal harmonies since 1959 and now they’re back with a new fall getup to celebrate the colors of the season!
Our MickeyBlogger ran into the Dapper Dans in front of the train station today, wearing their new fall duds.
You can see the classic white button down shirt with spiffy new vests featuring stripes of dark green, burgundy, brown and a burnt orange.
Each Dapper Dan also features burgundy pants, a dark green bowtie and the classic straw hat with matching fall striped ribbon and bow.
Pristinely shined black leather shoes complete the outfit, straight out of 1950s Americana and ready for pumpkins and hay bales!
The guys coordinate with all the new fall decor on Main Street just perfectly! We love watching them interact and also be a bit silly!
What are those instruments our favorite singers are carrying you ask? Those are Deagan Organ Chimes, similar to a Balinese anklung.
If you aren’t familiar with these fun instruments, they are sort of a pipe organ mixed with a xylophone. Musicians play them by striking or shaking them. These have become a Dapper Dan staple since they were introduced by one of the original singers in the Walt Disney World quartet in 1971. They are carefully tuned to harmonize with the Dans beautifully!
