‘Nightmare’ Crew Haunts on New Halloween Merchandise
Jack Skellington takes on his most ghoulish of Halloween forms across a line of new merchandise that just dropped this morning in Magic Kingdom in an early celebration of the spooky October holiday. Aside from two sets of Mickey ears and a range of apparel, new “The Nightmare Before Christmas” tumblers, Pop Sockets and more also hit the shelves today.
For those looking for something smaller than a Corkcicle, a new Thermos offers a hauntingly stellar choice in the world of Disney tumblers. Using a 3-D effect, Jack and Sally appear to be having a romantic moment on one side of the Thermos within the jet black bottle’s design.
With a background of crossbones sketched in white, Oogie Boogie causes quite a fright with one of the Vampire brothers flying in the forefront of the design.
The screwtop on the bottle also features a handle, making it easy to carry around this container during a night of Trick-or-Treating later this season. The bottle retails for $27.99.
Jack Frights on PopWallet+
With a psychedelic black, green and white swirling in the background, Jack Skellington’s wicked side causes quite a scare on a new PopWallet+ by PopSockets released today.
Like the Thermos, this design also attempts a 3-D effect. The $29.99 phone accessory stands out with one of the most genuinely frightful designs of this year’s merchandise.
Adding a ‘Nightmare’ Touch to Game Night
The incredible artistry to Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” finds itself on full display in an new 1,000-piece puzzle that debuted today in the film’s Halloween collection.
The $24.99 novelty gift uses a number of the movie’s most famous scenes to capture not only the frights of the original film but also to highlight Jack’s journey from lament to love.
For those looking for a smaller way to bring “The Nightmare Before Christmas” home, a new set of playing cards sits alongside the puzzle at The Emporium, the penultimate shopping experience at Magic Kingdom.
Featuring the vast majority of influential characters in the 1993 stop-motion film, the cards toy with the darker side of Disney. Oogie Boogie and Dr. Finkelstein play the Jokers while Zero, Sally, Jack and Lock, Shock and Barrel take on the ace.
With an abundance of Halloween merchandise popping up throughout Disney Parks today, the season officially appear to be in full spooky swing!
