Celebrate SharkFest at Disneyland and Disney World
A favorite National Geographic event is making a return – SharkFest! Disney Parks have decided to join in on the fun this year with new-limited time photo opportunities and more! You can take part in the action at EPCOT, Disney Springs, Walt Disney World Resort and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel at Disneyland.
Disney hotels and resorts on both coasts will also be holding their own backyard celebrations!
2022 marks the 10th year of SharkFest and to celebrate, National Geographic is pulling out all of the stops to bring views the “toothiest and thruthiest” shark content ever with the most epic programming to date.
This year’s SharkFest will take viewers up close and personal with one of the world’s most feared predators!
Above is a sneak peek of the SharkFest fun coming to the Hotels of Disneyland Resort. You’ll definitely want to head over to Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel pool where you will have access to an incredible ground mural featuring The Great White.
On the East Coast, EPCOT’s World Nature Pavilion (outside of the exit to The Seas With Nemo & Friends) will be offering a special photo op with a life-size version of the National Geographic logo.
Last, but certainly not least if you head over to Disney Springs you can pose in front of a new Great White Shark photo wall located on the side of Disney’s Days of Christmas.
Be sure to check your resort activity calendar for special SharkFest activities like a shark-themed game of cornhole. You can challenge your friends and family to this fun beanbag toss!
Please note, these limited-time activities will only be around for a few weeks.
And don’t forget the most important aspect of SharkFest. National Geographic and Disney+ will be bringing you over 60 hours of content focused on this iconic apex predator. SharkFest is a celebration not only of the science of sharks but on their true beauty, power and mystery.
