Two New, Refreshing Beverages Arrive at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park
Looking for a nice and refreshing beverage to cool down under the hot Florida sun during your next visit to Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World, I have not one but two new tasty drinks to wet your whistle!
In addition to these drinks being delicious and refreshing, they also have been carefully crafted to celebrate Asian American, Native Hawaiian , and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.
Mango Punch
While today’s mangoes are usually gown in Africa, Australia, Hawaii, Central America, and the Philippines; legend has it that they first originated in India.
In Eastern and Asian cultures, unripened mangoes are actually used for pickles, chutneys, and relishes. In India, mangoes are grounded up into a powder called “amchoor” and used for seasoning many dishes.
The Mango Punch at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is available at Dawa Bar and costs $14.00. The Mango Punch consists of Parrot Bay Coconut Run, Stoli Vanil Vodka, mango puree, and rice milk.
Boba Tea Drinks at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park
Boba Balls and Boba Tea has taken the world by storm in recent years. But, Boba Balls actually date back to the 1980s in both Japan and Taiwan.
If you are not familiar, Boba Balls are chewy pearls that release a pop of flavor when chewed on. They are a true flavor sensation!
The Boba Tea can also be found at Dawa Bar in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. It is available with vodka for $15.00 and without alochol for $5.99.
The Boba Tea features popular Taiwanese Bubble Tea with a refreshing, chilled honey-infused black tea that is matched with tangy sour apple Boba Balls that pop right in your mouth.
