Look at Railroad Tunnel Underneath TRON Coaster
Happy Monday morning Disney friends! Our MickeyBlogger is currently coming to you from the Magic Kingdom where we popped over to Storybook Circus to see how construction is coming along on the TRON Coaster.
Though most of the construction photos we’ve shared with you are from Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, today we’re over at Storybook Circus to show you the work being carried out from a slightly different vantage point.
As you can from the image above, the roofing on the outdoor canopies from the TRON coaster are now completely covered.
There is still some work being done to the outer exterior of the building.
Above you can get a good look at the tunnel underneath the TRON coaster.
This tunnel will actually be used for the Walt Disney World Railroad.
Above is a look at the building that houses the indoor portion of the TRON coaster which has a multicolored blue exterior.
When construction finishes on the TRON coaster, the Walt Disney World Railroad will also become operational utilizing the new track and tunnel.
As of going to print, no opening date has been given for the TRON coaster. However, this is a story that we will continue to follow closely and we promise to keep you posted as soon as we’ve heard more!
Readers are encouraged to keep following along with MickeyBlog for further Walt Disney World news and updates. We’ll be coming to you LIVE! from the theme parks each and every week.
