Club 33 In Disneyland Is Currently Undergoing Refurbishment Here’s What We Know
If you’re a Disney fan, you’ve no doubt heard about Club 33 and the myths that surround Disney’s secret exclusive club. The property is currently undergoing a monthlong refurbishment at Disneyland in the lead in to Club 33’s 55th Anniversary.
According to a recent piece in the OC Register we can confirm that Salon Nouveau will remain closed from April 15 with the cocktail lounge reopening on April 16th.

In addition, work is being carried out at The Court of Angels which serves as the entry courtyard for Club 33 members. At this time members are being asked to enter through the gate next to Le Bat En Rouge. You can then use the club elevator to reach Le Grand Salon and Le Salon Noveau.

The clubs main dining room known as “The Grand Salon” will continue to be open to diners Wednesday through Sunday for lunch and dinner during the refurbishment .
So what kind of changes can members expect? Disney is remaining pretty tight lipped but as OC Register points out, Disney has changed carpeting and draperies during past closures.
For those unfamiliar, Club 33 is an exclusive club where membership costs $25,000 and $10,000 in annual dues. We’ve heard over the years that there are hundreds of names on the waitlist of people looking to join the club. Much regarding membership is a mystery but we do know that it was inspired by the VIP lounges Walt Disney visited during the 1964 Worlds Fair in New York City.
Club 33 opened in Disneyland in 1967 which was just a few months after Walt’s death in 1966. According to a recent report in Eater, it is believed that celebrity members include Tom Hanks, Christina Aguilera and Elton John.

Club 33 also has a brand new chef in Gloria Tae who moves over to the club from Napa Rose. She is now responsible for overseeing the menus in Le Grand Salon, Le Salon Nouveau as well as the private dining experience 21 Royal Private.
