BREAKING: Opening Date for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Coaster Announced
The moment we have all been waiting for is here! Just this morning on ABC’s Good Morning America, the opening date for the much-anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy coaster coming to EPCOT has just been revealed!
The official opening date for the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind coaster is May 27th!

Originally announced at the D23 Expo back in August of 2019, fans of the hit Marvel movie series, Guardians of the Galaxy, have been waiting for the opening date of this out-of-the-world coaster.
Once open, Guests will start their mission with a tour of the Galaxarium. Billed as a “planetarium-like exhibition showcasing the similarities and differences between Xandar and Earth’s galaxies,” Guests are invited to explore some of the wonders of Xander while also learning about their technology.

Just when you think the tour is about to wrap up is when things take a turn! This is when Guests of the Galaxarium are called into action to rock out across the galaxy and help the Guardians of the Galaxy crew on a special mission!
Did you know that once open, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind coaster will be the first-ever reverse-launch coater at a Disney Park and will also be considered one of the longest roller coasters in the world? That’s right! This family-friendly coaster is one of the first of its kind and will also rotate 360 degrees to give Guests the best view of all angles possible.
