Disney Debuts NEW Merchandise Collections For Disney World’s 50th Anniversary
Disney World is currently about four months into its 18 month 50th Anniversary Celebration and the incredible merchandise just keeps rolling in! The company took to social media this morning to give us a merchandise preview of four new collections arriving at the parks and online this Spring and all we can say is WOW!
Let’s dive in and take a look at some of the items that you’ll want to be on the lookout for.
EARidescent Shimmer Collection
The latest color story in 50th Anniversary merchandise is shining, shimmering, splendid! As you can see from the awesome Spirit Jersey above, the blue and gold colors are the same tones found on the turrets of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park. Known as the EARidescent Shimmer Collection, this new line of 50th Anniversary goodies will feature sparkling statement pieces including a Minnie Mouse headband, Loungefly backpack and more!
Disney Vault Balloon Collection
The design inspiration behind the latest Vault Collection are the bold, colorful Mickey Mouse Balloons that used to decorate the shopping bags at the theme parks. Back in 1971, guests used to fill these bags with Mickey ears, toys, packaged treats and more. The print will be featured on a variety of awesome items including a bucket hat, Spirit Jersey, Loungefly backpack and more!
Celebration Collection
Though the Celebration Collection isn’t new (it launched at the start of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration) it is now being expanded to include a new Dress Shop design, Dooney & Bourke handbags, youth apparel and more. You’ll also want to be on the lookout for Goofy, Donald and Daisy plush dolls sporting their EARidescent outfits.
Disney Vault Orange Bird Collection debuting later this spring!
Last, but certainly not least is our beloved Orange Bird in a brand new collection capturing the groovy 1970s vibes. You’ll find an array of awesome retro pieces that are sure to delight including a denim jacket, flower power dress by Dress Shop, crossbody bag, and more! It’s the perfect way to pay tribute to the loveable Orange Bird, a Disney character that has come to symbolize Florida!
