VIDEO: Let’s Go Inside TRON Lightcycle/Run Where Imagineers Are Testing Ride
If you’ve been following along with MickeyBlog, you’ve no doubt seen our coverage of the incredible progress being made on the TRON Lightcycle/Run attraction that is being constructed in Tomorrowland at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. Today we are going inside the attraction where Imagineers are sharing a video of the ride’s progress and the vehicles being safety tested.
Disney announced that they will soon being the next phase of ride testing known as “push/pull.” During this time, sections of the ride vehicle are moved through the entire ride track.
Once the track is completely ready, trains will begin launch tests at incremental speeds, eventually working up to full-speed launches.
If you’ll be visiting Magic Kingdom in the days or weeks ahead, be on the lookout for the ride vehicles making their way out of the launch zone underneath the attractions outdoor canopies.
