Spike the Bee Returns on Flower & Garden Merch!
The Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival kicked off today and MickeyBlog has been bringing you pictures from this gorgeous park all morning.
With all the new Festival flowers comes all the new Festival merchandise and we found a fun nostalgic character here to celebrate! Welcome back, Spike the Bee!
You might not know Spike the Bee’s name, (he’s sometimes known as Buzz-Buzz) but I bet you’ll recognize this cute little guy from Disney shorts of yesteryear.
Spike has his very own line of Flower & Garden Festival merch in the Port of Entry gift shop in Future World. Let’s take a look!
Stein-Like Mug
First up, front and center is a super cute Flower & Garden stein sized mug. Shaped kind of like a honey jar, this white mug has a honeycomb imprint all over with a yellow threaded top.
A retro looking Spike hovers over some flowers and a large beehive on the front graphic. That beehive sure resembles Spaceship Earth to me!
This 18oz ceramic mug comes with a honey dipper printed stirring spoon, resting right in the handle. It’s a great gift option that will cost you $22.99 + tax.
Bowl
If you want to coordinate your mug with your cereal bowl in the morning, you’re in luck! This matching white, comb imprinted bowl can be all yours for $39.99.
The top of the 60 oz bowl features a yellow band with Spike buzzing around, collecting honey from flowers.
Salt and Pepper Shakers
Perhaps my favorite in Spike’s whole lineup, trash can shaped salt and pepper shakers!
These little guys are shaped like the classic Disney trash cans that are themed all over the park.
One side says “Home sweet Comb” with the Spaceship Earth-esque beehive, while another side shows Spike and a jar of honey with the Flower and Garden Festival logo.
The opposite sides show a yellow comb print with Spike’s smiling face on one and Spike pollinating a bunch of flowers on the other.
These adorable shakers are only $9.99 each!
Tee-Shirt
If housewares aren’t your souvenir jam, Spike has some other items available too! Like this classic butter yellow tee, featuring monocolor sketches of various flowers with labels underneath.
At the bottom of the shirt we see a colorful Spike, labeled as the flowers are, with the Festival logo and Spaceship Beehive surrounded by wildflowers.
This short sleeved shirt runs $36.99 + tax.
Long Sleeve Hoodie
A unique Disney shirt offering, a thin, gauzy white long sleeved hoodie, is perfect for gardening or an early morning walk. The white base features lovely pastel yellow sunflowers and white clovers.
The pretty flowers are surrounded by a frolicking Spike and some tiny butterflies.
With a hood and front pouch pocket, this delicate shirt is priced at $49.99 + tax.
Tote Bag
You can haul all your Flower and Garden Festival merch home in this large tote bag featuring a colorful Spike surrounded by flowers.
“Bee Kind” is emblazoned under Spike and his flower friends while a golden honeycomb print covers the base of the bag. The Festival logo is tagged at the top between two leather studded handles.
This handy canvas bag is priced at $39.99 + tax.
