Producer Announces Hocus Pocus 2 Set to Premiere on Halloween 2022!
Get ready for the return of the SISTAAAHS! The premiere date for the highly anticipated Hocus Pocus 2 has finally been revealed!
Producer Adam Shankman took to Instagram to reveal that the film had wrapped shooting and announce that Hocus Pocus 2 will premiere on Halloween 2022 on Disney+!

The original Hocus Pocus released in July of 1993. Strange release date aside (a Halloween-based movie in July?) the movie opened to mixed reviews from critics and was considered a box office failure.
Critics like Roger Ebert quickly condemned the film lamenting the film’s personalities and the film finished 4th at the box office, a far cry from the crushing Box office hits that Disney has become well known for.

However, Hocus Pocus has still managed to put a spell on many fans throughout the decades since its release.
Annual television airings on places such as the Disney channel, DVD releases, and favorable support during the fall Halloween season has turned the film into a certified Cult classic

The Sanderson sisters have become icons of Halloween, joining the likes of Jack Skelington and Michael Myers. Legendary performances from Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy have cemented the film as a must watch every Halloween season.
We hope the spell continues in Hocus Pocus 2 and audiences are certainly excited to see the schemes of the Sanderson sisters after 28 years removed from the silver screen.
