Mulan and Mushu Join the Lunar New Year Fun at Disney California Adventure
Its not officially a Lunar New Year Celebration until we’ve had a chance to see Mulan and Mushu!
We managed to catch this beloved dragon and the princess as we were making the rounds at Disney California Adventure this afternoon.
They have their own pavilion and it has been decorated for Lunar New Year.
They both looked absolutely amazing.
The red and gold setting made for a beautiful photo op.
Above is Mushu joking with the crowd.
He definitely knew how to get everyone in the celebratory spirit.
Though the character encounters are socially distanced, both Mulan and Mushu were great at interacting with the crowds.
They look just as excited as we are about celebrating The Year of the Tiger.
You’ll definitely want to be on the lookout for them during your Lunar New Year, Disney California Adventure visit.
Be sure to have those cameras at the ready as well because this is the perfect opportunity to snap some photos.
They’re even willing to work with the crowd should you want to nab a selfie or two.
The characters don’t always come out at the same time.
When we originally visited, Mulan was there by herself.
This worked out perfectly as we managed to get some wonderful pictures of Mulan in her traditional garb.
She was looking absolutely stunning against the ornate backdrop.
Just look at the beautiful flowers in her hair!
She even struck one of her warrior poses for us!
Mulan and Mushu are just one of a few special Lunar New Year meet and greets we’re excited to see.
There’s also Mickey and Minnie.
Tigger will also be making appearances to celebrate the Year of the Tiger.
And for the first time EVER we also heard that Raya will be out and about.
We will try to catch all of our Disney friends during our visit so keep following along.
