What Were The Most Popular Disney+ Shows in 2021?
As we kick off a new year, we wanted to take a minute to look back at another year of digital streaming on Disney+. 2021 brought us more Marvel with three new series, Star Wars (AKA all things Baby Yoda) and so much more. 1) The Simpsons
One of Disney’s biggest gold mines in the acquisition of Fox, was the entire back catalog of The Simpsons. Disney has placed all of the thirty three seasons of the show on Disney+ making it a treasure trove of Springfield awesomeness. It should come as no surprise that with over 700 episodes, Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie top this list.
2) Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
Proof that Disney+ is and will remain a popular streaming option with tiny tots is the prominence of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, a popular Disney Junior program. According to What’s On Disney+, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is regularly the most popular program on Disney+ with episodes consistently trending.


Alfie concentrates on figuring out the second word while Dad and the onlookers eagerly watch.
3) Bluey
Another popular show for families, Bluey follows the adventures of a 6 year old puppy named Bluey who lives with her family and who plays intricate games that unfold in fun and unpredictable ways.
4) Jessie
Here’s one from the vaults that remains popular to this day. This Disney Channel live-action series following the adventures of a New York City Nanny and the children in her charge still remains a hit with fans of all ages. This is most definitely helped by social media trends including memes and TikTok challenges based on the show!

5) Loki
The first of three Marvel programs on our list, Loki picks up with the God of Mischief (Tom Hiddleston) after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Joined by a strong cast including Owen Wilson , Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant, the series proved to be a summer hit!
6) Star Wars: The Mandalorian
The Mandalorian continues to be one of the biggest draws for adult fans to Disney’s streaming network. The Star Wars series takes place after the fall of the Empire before the prominence of the First Order. It follows Mando, a bounty hunter on the outer reaches of the galaxy. There are two seasons currently available to stream.
7) WandaVision
Another contribution from Marvel, Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) return in this drama/comedy/sci-fi hybrid where the suburban existence of these super heroes is not what it seems.
8) Marvel’s What If?
Marvel fans turned up for this animated series that reimagines famous events from the Marvel Cinematic Universe in new and unpredictable ways. It features a voice cast of live-action Marvel heroes who return to reprise their roles.

9) Grey’s Anatomy
The only offering from ABC on this list, Grey’s Anatomy follows a group of Seattle doctors and has the distinction of being one of the longest running shows on the network. The series continues to trend on Disney+ with episodes of season 18 being released weekly.
10) The Falcon And The Winter Soldier
Rounding out the list is the final Marvel series released this year following Anthony Mack as Sam Wilson (AKA The Falcon) and Sebastian Stan as Buck Barnes (AKA The Winter Solider.) The duo team up on an epic adventure testing their abilities and sees Falcon taking over the role of Captain America.
