VIDEO: Eric Goldberg Watches His Creations Come to Life in ‘Disney Enchantment’
If you’ve been following along with us here at MickeyBlog you’ll know that Disney World, debuted a brand new 50th Anniversary fireworks display last October to celebrate the resort’s big Anniversary. Disney Enchantment has been captivating audiences both young and old with its evocative mix of Disney music, enhanced lighting and immersive projection effects that are cast onto both Cinderella Castle and down Main Street U.S.A.
This new fireworks celebration was especially poignant to Walt Disney Animation Studios Director, Eric Goldberg who created several hand-drawn animation moments in the show! For those unfamiliar, Eric has an incredibly impressive portfolio with Disney Animation with highlights including Aladdin and Pocahontas. He also most recently collaborated with Cirque du Soleil on their new show at Disney Springs – Drawn to Life.
Recently Eric had an opportunity to visit the Magic Kingdom to see Disney Enchantment for the first time. You can check out his reaction to the production in this delightful video:
Disney Enchantment is just one of the many incredible offerings guests will be able to enjoy as part of Disney’s 50th Anniversary festivities officially called – The World’s Most Magical Celebration. The fun kicked off on October 1st and will run for an impressive 18 months meaning that there’s plenty of time to get in on the fun!
