MickeyBlog was at Magic Kingdom for the Final Very Merriest After Hours
It’s the merriest time of the year and MickeyBlog was there to celebrate at the very last Very Merriest After Hours!
The Very Merriest After Hours event kicked off on November 8, featuring exclusive seasonal entertainment, fireworks, character meetings, snacks, and low crowds.
The Yuletide favorite is an ever-so-slightly scaled down version of the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party of yesteryear, but you’d never really know it! The after hours event brought back much of the over-the-top holiday spirit that Disney fans love.
A big hit with Guests, every After Hours night sold out as of December 10! Last night’s finale was no exception. With Christmas a mere 4 days away, Guests packed Magic Kingdom for one last night of festive celebration.
MickeyBlog joined Nick from MagicalNewsLive to give us a final look at all the holiday festivities! They caught Mickey & Minnie’s Very Merry Memories stage show on the Castle Forecourt Stage. This show is so special, featuring many characters that we rarely see elsewhere!
The stage show was quickly followed by one of the After Hours event’s biggest features, Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade! The debut of this parade in November marked a major milestone as the FIRST parade to make its way down Main Street since the pandemic closure of 2020!
We saw a decked out Mickey and Minnie, of course, followed by a host of Christmas characters. Goofy and friends, princesses, gingerbread men…
…the gang’s all here!
It may be Florida, but it wouldn’t be winter without a little Elsa, now would it?
This parade, complete with the iconic toy soldiers and snow on Main Street, is truly the epitome of Disney holiday magic!
It doesn’t get any more magical than Santa in front of the castle!
The big guy finished out the parade before the season finale, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks!
Disney gave fans at home a special treat with a livestream of the show, starting at 11:15 PM on the @DisneyParks TikTok account.
Didn’t catch the stream? You can revisit our video footage from earlier this season here.
Or you can watch Nick’s entire livestream of the final Very Merriest After Hours below!
And so, our Very Merriest journey comes to an end. Well, mostly. You can still catch Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade twice a day in Magic Kingdom through December 31!
